Nine members of a large family visited with two cars. I knew the parking was difficult and was nervous, but the owner stood right in the spot where we might have gone wrong and waited for us! (If it hadn’t been there, we would have really had trouble finding it.) Upon arrival, we toured the traditional house, started with a Gaiseki dinner, then wore yukata for a night walk photo session and enjoyed a private hot spring. The hot spring was private. In a Japanese mountain setting, we felt the traditional home atmosphere fully. Parents and kids were all satisfied with the accommodation (the bedding was very soft and fluffy for a sweet sleep). After waking up, we walked around. the dawn vibe. it was perfect! The owner’s guidance was not there; we almost missed the parking. The parking directions could be more detailed.
The couple running the place pour love and care into every guest, even with a small staff. They’re very courteous, warm, and thorough. The overall atmosphere is great, the hot spring is comfortable, and any questions get detailed answers.
The breakfast was tidy and very good.
The vibe was amazing. I strolled at night in a yukata, lantern in hand, and the whole moment felt special. The menu had many dishes, especially the veggies were delicious. They cooked rice for me, but when I was full I asked for a rice ball instead, which my child devoured after the walk. The route to get there was a bit confusing, but that’s all.
“最高でした。”
The detached room with an outdoor bath was the best. The food was also very tasty.
