We were exhausted after my mother‑in‑law’s funeral, so my husband and I slipped into this place for a single night. The caretaker was polite and helpful, but the photos on the website were misleading; the actual rooms were far from what we’d seen. We couldn’t find the building because there was no sign, and the Google map led us astray. On arrival we discovered the place was in disrepair—no renovation signs, broken door locks, and gaps in the main doors that let anyone see inside. We had to buy dinner elsewhere because the on‑site ordering wasn’t available. Breakfast only arrived after we asked for it, and it didn’t match the promised quality. The charges were higher than the listed rate, yet we didn’t bother to negotiate. We were disappointed, but with no other options and extreme fatigue, we had no choice but to stay. The only silver lining was that my husband was with me. The photos should be updated to reflect reality.
