I just spent two nights at the Acorn Guest House while visiting Hull. It’s a proper old‑school guest house with a top‑rate landlady. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was delicious. Big thank you to Janet. I would definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and we stayed one night. The decor is very outdated—curtains, for example—and the bed looks old and noisy, so it’s due for an update. Other than that everything else is great 👍.
