“很棒很满意的入住,之后还会考虑再次选择”
The street is quiet and safe, right next to Imperial College dorms and St. Trinity Church, a 5‑minute walk to Harrods, surrounding supermarkets and Italian restaurants, a breakfast bar, a Chinese restaurant, and everything else you’d want. A 10‑minute walk in the opposite direction takes you past the Bulgari hotel and into a luxury shopping street—quiet amid the bustle. The house is an old‑style mansion with Lefroy Brooks bathroom fittings, all kitchen appliances and washer‑dryer are Miele, the living room lighting is dimmable, the heating has full‑house temperature control, and the dining area is large enough for cooking. It’s a high‑end, quality guesthouse.
I recommend providing Chinese guests with a small rice cooker and chopsticks. When cooking in the first‑floor kitchen, the temperature was high and the skylight remote was missing, so ventilation failed and it was hot, causing my wife’s facial skin to react. The first‑floor bathroom heating pipe leaked onto the floor, the kitchen garbage bags were only one spare and far from enough; six people cooking would likely need two each day. Bath supplies were only provided once, so staying multiple days is insufficient. On the second‑floor terrace, the coffee table had standing water and many cigarette butts, likely a dirty spot.
