The quietness, the reception, the bathroom, and the bed were all wonderful, and everything was tastefully decorated; the breakfast was also good. On Sunday the nearby restaurant was closed, but we grabbed two pizzas from a local pizzeria and ate them in the garden.

The welcome was friendly, the dinner was fantastic, and our dogs were welcome. The breakfast was adequate but not what we’re used to (e.g., no charcuterie or a boiled egg, though there was Boursin and jam). The room was dated and had many spiders, which felt unhygienic.

The mother and son were really very kind. There was little or no opportunity to eat in the village.

The owner cooked a wonderful meal for us on request, which was a nice touch after a long day of travel. The starter, main course, and dessert were all delicious, and the breakfast was equally tasty with croissants, baguette, jam, yogurt, and coffee.
