The staff were friendly and the balcony offered a fabulous view of the Matterhorn, but there was no air conditioning.

Our room was generously sized with good seating options including a comfy chair, a couch, and a desk chair; we also had two terraces because it was a corner room—one with a view of the Matterhorn and another to sit on if it was too sunny. The room and hotel were very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The hotel gives free access to a very nice spa a few minutes walk away, which we used twice. The free shuttle to the train with luggage was very convenient. Nothing else to note!
