The place is right in the old city centre, next to Via Mercanti, a few minutes walk from historic landmarks that are also in the centre. The area is full of cafés, salumerias for an Italian breakfast, and very good restaurants for lunch, dinner, or pizza. It’s within walking distance of the train station and Concordia port station (20 min brisk walk) and 10 min walk from Manfredi port station. We found Casa degli Angeli an ideal base for daily sightseeing trips to Amalfi coast villages. The accommodation was easy to locate, check‑in instructions were clear, and you could pay the city tax through the app, unlike most rentals that ask for cash. The host met us at the location, gave us an access card and keys. The room was spotless; the cleaner missed no spot, which is rare nowadays. The downside: if you sleep with the window open, drunk tourists shouting on the main street at 1 AM can be disturbing; the room has air conditioning, so closing the window works too. We also missed that the owners didn’t provide disposable slippers; that would have added extra comfort.
