“Great staff, clean hotel, and location for walking to see historic sites.”

The property was clean and the staff friendly, and the breakfast on one day was good. However, the tub in the room had a very high reach and was a bit slippery, so my husband and I were extremely cautious while showering.

“You are mainly paying for the location, not the quality of the room.”

The location was great and the staff were friendly, but the bathroom was dirty on the first day and the drainage was poor. The room was too small, barely enough space around the bed, and the facilities felt old and below the standard I’d expect from a four‑star hotel.

“Best staff in”

The staff were excellent and went above and beyond, the common areas were nice, the room was clean, and everything was perfect in a good location close to restaurants. No complaints.

The location is very good and the breakfast café was great! The air conditioning didn’t work during my stay, so the hotel had to give me a fan to cope with the heat. My room was on the ground floor, but the window faced the street, so at night my room was visible to passersby unless I closed all the curtains. Privacy was zero, and the worst part was that the reception mistakenly told me that no one would see me from the street.

“Horrible, horrible, horrible.”

Room #43 was infested with ants that I couldn’t get rid of quickly, and it was very hot despite my efforts to cool it down; the outside temperature was in the 30s°C. When I complained about the ants and the temperature, the receptionist said, “oh, you want me to turn on the air conditioning?” and offered to change our room, which we did. I became very ill, had to change all my arrangements and flights to go home, and only stayed one night out of the six I prepaid for. The hotel refuses to refund, claiming it’s their policy. I strongly recommend travelers find another hotel.
