We didn’t receive breakfast daily and were given many excuses for why it wasn’t provided; the upstairs area was not fully air‑conditioned. Limited air conditioning and limited breakfast.

I love the history of the property and the ambience of staying in a nearly 200‑year‑old home. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect. The home was perfect and we want to stay there again.

I had an awesome experience thanks to Hans, though the early spring visit meant the grounds were still being finished.

The home is stunning, and Hans is a gracious host; we loved the French toast at breakfast and the historic restoration alone made the trip worthwhile, with nothing to dislike.
