Nothing! After a roughly 450 km drive we had already brought some items into the apartment. Then the on‑site representative, neither fluent in English nor German, told us via his smartphone that entry was only allowed for guests over 70 years old, a rule also stated in the house rules. This absurd rule was not mentioned in the booking confirmation. There are reviews of this place that mention families with children, so the parents must have been around 90 years old… The representative called the operator on site and repeatedly said in a German‑Polish mix “money back no problem”, but later refused to issue a free cancellation. Only after multiple interventions did the operator comply. Who knows how often he has pulled this scam in the past…

The attic room was small but cozy, featuring a mini fridge, microwave, dining table, Netflix‑enabled TV, and private parking for my car; the owner let me check in a bit early. The room’s soundproofing wasn’t great, so I could hear the cleaning crew in neighboring rooms in the morning, but it didn’t cause any major inconvenience.

The location was very good because of its proximity to the A‑6 motorway, but there was no ceiling light in the bedroom area.
