The breakfast was varied and the staff were friendly. It met expectations.

“Simplicidade com limpeza e uma ótima vista!”

We stayed at Vida Nova Barreirinhas for just one night and were pleasantly surprised upon arrival; it’s simple, very clean, and well maintained, with spotless rooms, linens, and bathrooms, and the common area and breakfast spot offer a nice view. We had a boat trip on the Rio Preguiça to Atins scheduled for the next morning, and the pousada has a deck for boarding, which was great! We could also walk calmly to the little center of Barreirinhas. The downside was that our room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy; early in the morning you could hear quadricycles and cars outside, and there was some internal noise from the pousada itself. If we had stayed longer, that would have been a bigger issue.

The terrace and breakfast were great, and the staff were very friendly, but the shower and bathroom weren't very clean; I even found a nail in the shower.

Service was superb and breakfast was excellent, but I didn’t like how tiny the bathroom was.
