Very bad experience…he is very uncooperative. The listing says twin room, but there are two separate single beds, and here he gives only one single bed.

“wouldn't return unless in dire need”

The sheets were clean, but the room was falling apart with paper‑thin walls that let in noise all night, and several babies were crying. The water pressure was poor and there was no hot running water.

“Rent er der ikke”

There were empty rooms because NATS cancelled all flights, but the place was filthy: my white socks turned black from walking on the floor, there was cigarette butts with lipstick in the bed, a dead insect in a towel, black hair everywhere, and a strong smoke smell—there was even an empty cigarette pack in the toilet trash. The wallpaper peeled from the walls, the beds were hard, the duvet was visibly unclean with stains, so we slept fully clothed, and it was very cold.

My stay at Abbey Lodge was a major letdown. Cleanliness was unacceptable, and almost no services were offered to guests. Basic toiletries and cleaning supplies were missing. The furniture was old, some items were broken or malfunctioning. The property clearly needs extensive maintenance, renovation, and a lot more focus on cleanliness and comfort. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
