The place sits right by Park d'Este with a fountain and a romantic little apartment that has tasteful décor and a view of a small square with a church. The kitchen is very small and spartan, and a note about parking (about a 7‑minute walk away) would have been helpful.

“Posizione ok ma qualche particolare da rivedere”

We were in the center of Tivoli, but the house wasn’t clean when we arrived – we had to call and they cleaned the bathroom better. There were spider webs and a coffee stain. We never met the host in person, only exchanged WhatsApp messages, and when we asked to check in a bit earlier we got no reply. Also, the house is in a restricted traffic zone, so getting there with multiple bags is tricky – the description didn’t make that clear, and the hill in Tivoli means a lot of up‑and‑down with luggage, which we didn’t like.

The apartment was very cute, clean, in a convenient and quiet area – we had a great stay.

The two‑storey apartment is almost next to the walls of Villa d'Este. The small kitchenette works, and the little bathroom in the sleeping area can be useful for avoiding the spiral staircase at night if you’re not too tall. The day‑time bathroom has a beautiful stone shower. The AC vent in the living room is in a very small pot that can spill at night if it’s too hot, potentially spreading heat to the lower part of the house – it definitely needs improvement. The kitchenette is tight.

The location is amazing, and you can sleep to the sound of Villa d'Este fountains, but the Wi‑Fi is weak and not good for work or watching movies.
