The hotel was fine, staff and facilities were good, and breakfast was decent. But the description said the room had air conditioning, and it did, yet they didn’t turn it on, so I was hot all night and had to sleep with the window open, hearing street noise.

We’ve stayed here before. The location is great, and since we always come during San Mateo, the area is quieter. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and it’s a short walk to Laurel Street.
