The hotel’s location and facilities make you feel like you’re in the Belle Époque with well‑maintained purple carpeted floors and tasteful interior décor. The rooms have been modernised and provide a superb relaxation and wellness factor.

Loved the location right near the basilica and the gondola, right in the heart of town. Breakfast was top‑notch with plenty to choose from. The room felt spacious and charmingly old‑school, and the double bed was a dream.

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the double bed was a total treat. Being close to the Mariazell Basilica made the stay even better.

The place was great overall, but the courtyard was a nightmare in the middle of the night – loud noises kept us up.
Breakfast was generous and varied, and the central location was spot‑on. We had to hunt for our own room key because the front desk was closed three days a week, even on our arrival day. The room lacked a proper wardrobe – just a set of odd open shelves instead.
