We were treated to a gorgeous breakfast with fresh coffee and tea, a variety of cereals, toast, fruit, yogurts, and a cooked breakfast that included a full English – nicely presented and tasty. We’ll try eggs Benedict next time, though it looked a bit scummy. The evening meal of scampi & chips was also well presented and delicious. The stairs aren’t ideal for people with limited mobility, so it’s best to book a ground‑floor room.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, a real credit to the hotel. The food is superb, the rooms are beautiful and comfy, and the location is relaxing and pretty. Absolutely nothing to complain about – it’s just perfect.

The room is beautiful, the staff lovely, and the breakfast was something else! The “garden view” was used a bit loosely.
