“Lovely guest house near Sekumpul Waterfall with amazing staff and delicious food”

We stayed one night at Sekumpul Guest House and liked it a lot. The place was right next to Sekumpul Waterfall, just a 10‑minute walk, and the surroundings were gorgeous, quiet, and full of nature. Our room was roomy, nice, and comfy. Breakfast came with the price, which was a nice bonus, and we really enjoyed it. We also ate a tasty dinner at the property the night before. The staff were super kind, friendly, and always ready to help. All in all, it was a solid spot to stay, especially if you’re heading to the waterfalls. Good value and we’d recommend it. The only issue was the ants and insects in our room. Bali is tropical, so that’s expected, but there were ants everywhere. The owner even greeted us with a spray to deal with them, which we appreciated, but the place could do better on cleaning and pest control. Other than that, everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

The area around the apartment is beautiful, and it’s very close to the waterfall—you can walk there. The staff were kind and helped us arrange a car with a driver, and we also received a free coffee and tea tasting. However, the shower had a bad smell, the bed was uncomfortable, and the person in charge forgot to mention that we had free access to the waterfall; they told us later after we had already bought tickets. The food was unfortunately not good at all.

“Nice”

The room, the food, and the closeness to the waterfall were all good, but the room was infested with insects—slugs on the sink, worms, and more—so it was not great.

The proximity to the falls was great, and everything else was fine.

“Getting in late, dinner and drinks abailable in restaurant while greeted by friendly staff. Visiting the waterfalls so”

The accommodation was excellent: spacious, clean, with a big, comfy bed and well‑arranged rooms, and there were no issues.
