“Basic”

I appreciated that the doors faced inward like a typical hotel, but I was annoyed there was no coffee or coffee machine in the room, the blankets were thin and cheap with no extras, and the single flat sheet and one‑ply blanket offered no warmth or comfort. When I asked for fresh towels, the man behind the desk scolded me—especially since we had a do‑not‑disturb sign on our door and didn’t need housekeeping for our four‑night stay. He insisted I bring the dirty towels down to the office, which seemed unnecessary; housekeeping could have collected them when we left.
