“Una experiencia que no deberías perderte”
I was impressed by the building and the room, but the corridors felt too dark.

Set in the former publishing house of Tbilisi, Stamba Hotel – lauded as a flawless fusion of vintage and contemporary, is a living, breathing reflection of the city’s growing global significance. Featuring uniquely designed and generously sized guestrooms, the hotel allures visitors at once. Yet there’s more to it: cloud-like beds, personal McIntosh brand hi-fi systems, La Marzocco coffee machines, gilded free-standing brass bathtubs and showers, minibars, and flat-screen TVs. The bathrooms come with slippers and hairdryers. The sights vary as the large windows of each room overlook the different parts of the hotel’s premises, counting the five-story-high atrium and several gardens. On the ground floor, there is Café Stamba - enchanting visitors with quintessential sentiments and style of the previous century and offering a great gastronomic experience: gourmet cuisine prepared with fresh and locally sourced products, signature cocktails crafted and served at the American-aesthetic pink bar, and the outstanding Stamba Chocolaterie – with its artisan chocolate and coffee. Additionally, the hotel provides room service and breakfast in the room upon request. Many of Georgia’s historical and cultural sites, including the Georgian National Museum, the Opera & Ballet Theatre, and the Parliament, are within walking distance.

The property itself and the rooms were fantastic, yet roadwork outside the hotel left the road in disrepair.

The central spot, nearby bars and restaurants, and the quirky design were great, but Rustaveli Avenue was under reconstruction during my stay, leaving no one to help with luggage, and the overall darkness in the room and hotel could trouble those with sight issues.

The place as such is super cool, I really like this idea of a place where people can spend basically all day or may come at any time. Architecture/redesign also done with sensitive approach. Very good drinks. Unfortunately the staff was extremely rude and arrogant since the moment I enetered. The best experience with them was being just mild (not friendly, not approachable) and the worst. well lets say that I didnt even think of rating less than 10/10 pretty much until I walked into the merch shop where the lady treats you as a nuisance - an eye roll approach. Needless to say, the receptionist was cold and uninviting as well. The luggage guys and the cleaning ladies were the kindest. The staff will have to be retrained if you want to keep charging premium, because paying this price and be treated like this is just not worth it. If you wish to be part of Europe so bad, then change this beacuse it is inacceptable

Our time there was truly enchanting; we adored the location, design, and accessibility, and the food and drinks were superb, and we can’t wait to return to Stamba, though the SPA could have been better.
