“an ok place”
I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but I ended up with a 3‑bed dorm all to myself for the week; the place was almost empty that week anyway. The bed was comfortable and they actually used proper fitted sheets on two of the three beds, which was nice. The location was decent and they accepted USD, which helped. It was generally a very quiet week. The AC in the room struggled to keep up with the August heat. The Wi‑Fi was just okay. I chose not to cook because the kitchen looked unappetizing and clearly needed a deep clean. Card payments were not accepted. A young man at the front desk entered my room unannounced at least twice during the week—once while I was out and once when I was still in my shower, not yet dressed. I discovered a cigarette butt just inside the door, even though I don’t smoke.
