The Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre

La chambre était grande. Le personnel était adorable. La chambre était un peu vieillotte avec des rideaux défraîchis. Sinon, grande chambre bien équipée. Mais il faisait très froid… 15 degrés, ce qui n’est pas agréable.

“Hotel and amenities were good, but the lack of room heat was an issue.”

The location and staff were good. The room was very cold and the building heat was not turned on. The hotel promised a space heater, but it never arrived. Breakfast was decent.

“Great views from sea facing rooms”

We were in the room for about half an hour when the phone rang, asking how the room was and if anything else could be done to make our stay more comfortable. That kind of proactive check‑in is rare and very nice. They also let us check in a bit early. Breakfast was pleasant with a few hot options—scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, French toast—and many cold items. The toaster worked well for bagels and Philly cream cheese, and the coffee was good. A working jet/spa tub was in our room, though I’m not sure if every room has one. The view out onto the water was expansive and a pleasure to see. A great Indian restaurant, “House of Spice,” is just a few minutes away. The beds were a bit hard, not just firm but hard. Spinaker’s Landing across the street was mostly closed for the season, as was the fox museum.

“had a great time, was sorry to go”

wnderfully freindly and helkpful staff. the Inn needs some touch ups, painting, curtains fixed etc. We were on a ground floor room, and it was not easy to close out curtains

The location was fine. I had no power in my room when I arrived. I called the front desk and they said they would get back to me because I requested a new room. It seems someone tripped the breaker. The fridge clunked all night, and I couldn’t get a receipt at check‑out because the system was down. A lot of small things I know, but when you pay enough money for a hotel…
