The staff were very nice and helpful, pointing out things to see in the area, and the area around the pool is very peaceful. The bed was very hard and the room feels less modern. The facility is farther out of Lecce than I expected, a bit remote.

Irina was the gem of this property, offering a wealth of information, and Cassie the dog was the second best feature :) Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. The rooms were very clean. The pool was clean… but we didn’t use it. The place was dated, the bed was very uncomfortable (hard), and the gardens looked a little overrun.

The hotel was excellent, but the car hire company we were referred to was extremely bad. When we arrived to pick up the car 3 hours late, they cancelled our booking, rented our car to someone else, and left us stranded at Brindisi airport more than 50 km from our hotel. Neither the car hire company, Green Motion, helped us find another car nor did they refund us for the fully paid car hire. I will never use them again.
