The accommodation felt like a private villa, just 50 metres from the beach, with plenty of power points and a beautiful pool; my friend had a pest issue, but the staff resolved it quickly.

The location is truly great—quiet at the end of a street, close to the beach and fantastic beach warungs. The rooms are spacious but rather bland and functional. We were first shown a room that was unsightly, dirty, and far from the photos; after requesting a change, we got a different room that was better but still “aged” and not as pictured. Later we discovered the sink was leaking, so despite the staff’s “repair attempt,” the bathroom stayed wet. It was all fine until that point, not ideal but not a complaint. What was truly shocking was that someone clearly tried to steal from us. We had been warned by another review, so we left valuables in the room (the safe is very small). I had a handbag in the wardrobe with a prepared tissue; when we returned, it was obvious someone had touched the handbag and opened the wardrobe. Since the balcony and room door were locked and intact, it must have been someone who had a key. We reported it at reception, and suddenly nobody could speak English. Our concerns were not taken seriously. Even contacting the house manager via WhatsApp yielded excuses and “we’re looking into it.” We could have stayed another night, but we left the same day because we no longer felt safe. I cannot recommend trusting this property and its staff; I would not check in again.
