The location was right downtown, the staff caring. We paid for a private room at an admittedly low price for a hotel, but this wasn't a hotel. it's a hostel where most guests are sharing a bath and facilities. Our room had a torn blind over a noisy, bright alley and was primitive. I'd have loved to find (the less expensive) shared facilities back when I was a young hippie. but that was 50+ years ago, LOL

The staff was pleasant. $260 is a bit expensive given the private rooms did not have a TV, AC and small fridge. I understand this is a hostel but when you pay for a private room you expect more.

The only good thing was the location, no parking included was a bit challenging though. The night was hard, the trash truck was loud right by our window. The beds didn’t seem as clean as you should have expected and the usual no soap/no shampoo from all hostels was experienced. Wouldn’t stay there again given the high price, it’s only advantage is the location.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff were polite, but there were no curtains, so privacy was zero and the bright sunlight hit you right in the face.
