Wadi Rum

As soon as we got to Wadi Rum village, Awwad greeted us and led us on a memorable adventure. He drove us in the back of his pickup truck to the most iconic sites, explaining their history in detail. He also took us to personal spots that showed Bedouin life. We were especially excited about learning about camels, and Awwad covered everything: camel history, camel milk, and even our first camel ride. Awwad is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge, and he’s also kind and fun to be around—you’ll love spending time with him. Nothing negative.

A perfect stay with Awwad, the ideal guide for exploring the desert. He is friendly, interesting, and gives good advice. His English is impeccable. During the excursions our conversations were rich and respectful.

The location was beautiful and everything was clean and tidy. Thick blankets were provided because it gets very cold at night. The shower water was freezing cold and never warmed up.

“desert paradise”

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience staying in a traditional Bedouin tent in the breathtaking desert of Wadi Rum. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The tent was comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up for the four of us. Spending the night under the vast desert sky was magical, peaceful, quiet, and unlike anything we had experienced before. The atmosphere was authentic yet cozy, giving us a real sense of Bedouin culture. Dinner was simply outstanding. The variety and quality of the food exceeded all our expectations, freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of rich, traditional flavors. It was truly a feast! Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive: generous, delicious, and the perfect way to start a day in the desert. The following day’s jeep tour around Wadi Rum was absolutely fantastic. We explored the area’s stunning landscapes and famous landmarks, drove across dramatic red sand dunes, and saw incredible rock formations. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire experience both exciting and informative. Overall, this was a perfect adventure for the four of us. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jordan. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime desert experience!

I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional experience and warm hospitality we received. Our guide Awad was fantastic, even while fasting, and the kids quickly took to him. His family also prepared a delicious meal for us in a traditional way. We highly recommend this place!
