Good with two bedrooms, a shower, and a gas stove for this price. Only one paper sheet is provided and there’s no duvet.
I stayed in a mobile home that was a mess: the floor was sticky, a dirty sock and a bottle were under the bed, there was no gas lighter, the place smelled damp, and a waste‑dump warehouse could be seen right in front of the terrace. The narrow path for walking dogs was full of brambles. The pool was littered with leaves, sand, and only ladders for entry and exit, making it unsuitable for people with reduced mobility; we even caught a frog in the water. A power socket was near a water line and a washing machine drain ran through the pedestrian walkway. Some guests had a nasty dog that the owner let roam off‑leash. Fries and kebab skewers were cooked outside with wind blowing dust from the ground, and there was no safety barrier as it was open to the counter edge. I never saw a campground host a karaoke session until 4 a.m. outside because there was no room for activities, even though there were families with young children who were there to rest. I find it unacceptable to charge a €20 cleaning fee when the mobile home arrives already dirty. I am completely dissatisfied and, since every point is negative, I request a full refund and suggest that this campground be removed from your recommendations.
The welcome was great, but it was noisy and people didn’t respect those sleeping past midnight.
Well situated, great events and owners, but the Irish were a bit off.
“super”
The staff were friendly and warm, the manager and team were caring and very pleasant. The camp sits in a very natural setting, which made the experience even more authentic. We had a fantastic time; unlike previous reviews, we found the toilets super clean from evening until the next morning, even on departure. The snack bar and pool are highly appreciated and enhance the conviviality of this small‑scale camp. It lives up to its 2‑star rating, without fuss, and the manager and staff are keen to satisfy guests with a wide arrival and departure window and great pool accessibility during hot periods. We loved the authenticity of the place, the manager and his team, and it was a truly beautiful human experience. The only downside was the harsh comments from some guests who didn’t understand the real situation; a basic camp isn’t meant to be a sterile, “home‑like” environment devoid of wildlife and flora, so it’s better to choose a 5‑star “factory” camp in that case.
