The view and location were positives. The pool was dirty, and when we reported a water‑pressure issue in the room, we were ignored. The pool bar set random prices, and when we asked for beach towels we waited almost an hour. The pool also had a strong sulphur smell, and the international breakfast was practically non‑existent.

The walls were decorated with clear depictions of Egyptian statues and ancient culture, yet the air‑conditioning barely worked in the rooms and didn’t function at all in the hotel.

I liked the pool and the staff, but on the first day the restaurant forced us to pay cash while on the second day we could use a card, and both times we dined there the bill contained errors that worked against us.

الموقع. عدم وجود تكييف في الريسبشن والمطعم شئ غير طبيعي فشهر 7 والموظفين غير مدربين نهائياً ولكن محترمين والموظفين بيدخنوا في الريسبشن وبينادوا علي بعض والمكان كله ريحته سيئة

This was my second visit to the Regency Pyramids Hotel. I had a room with a private balcony overlooking the pyramids, and the same view was visible from the breakfast area. Breakfast for an Aussie wasn’t that great. With limited nearby options, I had breakfast and dinner included. The dinner selection and quality were fabulous. A nearby service station offered ATMs for withdrawing EGP, soft drinks, snacks, and some toiletries. The hotel staff are exceptional, treating me like royalty. Uber doesn’t operate from the hotel, but the staff will arrange a car to take you out, and you can use Uber to return. I usually go in the first week of July, spending some days in the lovely pool gazing at the pyramids. There’s a small kiosk for drinks and three souvenir shops, and I love the handbag shop. Breakfast is mainly Egyptian, but I enjoyed the fresh meats, cheeses, and small sweet biscuits once I figured it out.
