The staff were really lovely. The kitchen/waiters did a fantastic job, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional, and the kitchen made a perfect omelet. The housekeeping staff made my daughter happy every day by folding her duvet into a new shape. Room cleaning was excellent. Highly recommended. There was really not much that I did not like.

The family suite came with a spacious terrace and modern, comfy furniture. The bathroom was generous, featuring a freestanding tub, and the breakfast spread was hearty and varied. The only hiccup was that you couldn’t pick your own table at breakfast.

The hotel’s location right by the train line is a big plus, especially when the Hinterglemm construction site is a hassle. But the beds were too soft, and the first room had a 1.4‑meter bed that was barely usable. Restaurant staff spoke mostly English but were nice. At night, the bar had no bartender; the receptionist had to keep asking the right people or the manager for help. The worst part was the shower—water would spill all the way to the door, so we had to block it with towels.
