Location. The property didn’t answer the phone in the Iliad phone manager zone, the building was dilapidated and not suitable for elderly guests because of the steep staircase ramp.

“Ad 1 minuto da Tutto !”

The property was well positioned, clean, and well organized. It’s a minute’s walk from the Basilica of San Michele and two minutes from the medieval castle, right in the historic center. Despite nearby commercial activity, it’s quiet and free from annoying noise. I already knew “Gli Arcangeli” but had stayed in a different room before, and even this one offered the same comfort. The Wi‑Fi worked perfectly, which is not guaranteed given the usual phone network issues. The location is also great between bars and restaurants, and it’s close to bus and taxi stops. No complaints.

“Good value for the money, but needs work”

The place is in a great spot, the bathroom is large, and the price is good. However, there’s a lot of visible black mold in the bedroom and bathroom that they didn’t even try to cover up with paint. Check‑in details weren’t sent until I messaged them on WhatsApp. The check‑in was unusually late and check‑out was early. The room feels stuffy when the window is shut and loud when it’s open; the fan barely helps, and an AC would probably solve both the stuffiness and the mold/dampness problems.

“Staff maleducato e prepotente.”

The manager was rude and didn’t treat us politely. We had no signal because the operator had no coverage in the area, so I had to ask local police, and the manager was just as rude to them.
