The proximity to the heart of old Lyon was good, the host gave useful restaurant tips, the interior décor was nice, and breakfast was decent. However, the loge we got wasn’t the one we had booked, which was a big let‑down! Two small beds on the mezzanine had a low ceiling that was fine for kids but not for adults. The mattresses on those small beds were hard, and the ovens and coffee maker were placed too high—hard to reach for someone who is 1.60 m tall.

We stayed in loge 3, which has a separate queen bedroom with two single beds on the mezzanine above—alternatively you can use the sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen. The spot in Lyon is unbeatable—close to the metro and the bars/restaurants of old Lyon. Frank, the owner, is super helpful and genuinely proud of this historic building.
