The location is ideal for exploring the north side of Kyoto. The staff were super friendly, the accommodation was clean and quiet, and I had a great stay! The futon was a bit too thin for my taste, but I slept well anyway.

The location is excellent, close to the Imperial Palace with good transport links. The guesthouse sits on a quiet street and is beautifully maintained, with plenty of information for guests. Nothing to add.
