The front desk behavior. First, I’m a member and every time I stay in Eilat I stay at Gikov Eilat. I tried to get the member discount through the website but failed, so I made a regular booking. I listed my requests to leave on Shabbat and to avoid a Sunday, and I was still asked to pay 400 shekels. It was an unpleasant experience.

The hotel’s location is convenient; it isn’t very central but a 10‑minute walk gets you to the beach and next to the “Mool HaYam” mall. The staff were very friendly. We received an upgrade to a room without asking for a 5th‑floor balcony room. The room was stunning, clean, and tidy.
