“A warm, welcoming stay with a wonderful host, spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation, great amenities, and a pea”

We had a wonderful stay. Barnaby was such a friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and homely, with plenty of fresh towels and great amenities. It was also private and peaceful, in a lovely, convenient location. A really relaxing stay — highly recommended!

The host was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, with coffee, tea, and water provided. The room and bathroom were well equipped. We stayed from 2026.01.8 to 10, when the coldest temperature in recent years was –13 °C, yet the room and bathroom were very warm. Watching Netflix was a particular pleasure. In the morning, even with the snow, we were only 15 minutes from the bath. The bath’s usual restaurant, Fehér hattyú, offers acceptable lunch at a reasonable price. A Penny, Tesco, and Diòfa csárda are not far by car, and I can definitely recommend them. I was there with my wife and 14‑year‑old son, and we all had a great time. We’ll definitely come back, probably in summer!
