“不舒服”

The place sits in a very good spot, just a 10‑15 minute walk from Ximending, a lively pedestrian area packed with restaurants, shops, and a few multiplexes; you can also stroll to Presidential Hall Plaza, the National Taiwan Museum, MoCA across the street, and the grand Liberty Square. The main station is only 5‑10 minutes away, giving direct access to the airport. Checking in late, around 8 pm, was not as smooth as advertised: the person on duty turned out to be the cleaning lady who didn’t speak English, and credit‑card payment was actually impossible, forcing me to find an ATM outside. During the following days, the regular staff avoided eye contact, probably because of limited English, but the hotel itself and the room were fine, so I have no complaints.

The only thing that impressed me was the strong water pressure and ample hot water in the bathroom. However, I’ve never stayed at a hotel without a fridge, the pillow was flat, the blanket thin, and they charged extra—50 for a pillow and 100 for a blanket—while the blanket itself was low‑quality, with the cover separating from the filling and cotton fluff spilling out, which made my nose feel uncomfortable; on top of that, the air‑conditioner started rattling after two minutes and kept me awake all night.
