Holiday Inn Express Turpan, an IHG Hotel

“Good value.”

The Holiday Inn Express was clean, fresh and modern, and the staff were friendly though they didn't speak English. The breakfast buffet was very good, especially the cook who prepared the egg station. The coffee machine was fine if you chose espresso. A washer and dryer with an automatic soap dispenser were located next to the gym, which was surprisingly adequate. It takes 10‑15 minutes by taxi to the train station, and several restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. Good value.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help with translations.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and there was free self‑service laundry. Nothing else to note.

“Schön für ein paar Tage in Turpan”

The room was large and lovely, and the hotel itself was very nice. The breakfast selection was good, and laundry could be done for free. It was within walking distance of the city centre, and taxis were easy to catch in front of the hotel. Overall, a very good stay.
