The photos made the property look decent, and we’d booked it in advance for an overnight stay. Our check‑in was scheduled for 10 PM, but an unexpected delay pushed our arrival to around 12 AM. We let the hotel know ahead of time, yet they refused us a 12 AM check‑in and told us to book elsewhere. That was extremely disappointing and rude, especially since we’d already made an advance reservation and relied on them for the night. We had to find another hotel at that hour and paid extra. The hotel should have clarified its late check‑in policy before accepting the booking. Overall, the situation was handled poorly.

The grounds are lovely, the room is quaint and has everything you’ll need for a good night’s rest. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only the environmental aspect of the farmhouse is positive. There is no canteen, no room service for individual trips, and it may be fine for a group but there are no permanent canteen services. No rooms are cleaned, no food is provided, and there is no room service.
