Great location, good prices and good value. What kept it from all 10/10 for me was the owners attitude when I called asking about the WiFi, it was not unpleasant but also not helpful as I would expect back home in Sweden. That and how thin some off the walls are (you can hear phone conversations through)

A front‑desk contact was available; the friendly lady helped us with parking, we could refreeze our ice‑cubes in the communal kitchen, there was plenty of space and large shared rooms (kitchen, bathroom), everything was well maintained, and the walk to Halmstad’s pedestrian zone with shops and restaurants was short. For our brief stay we had nothing to complain about.

You can put your stuff in a shared fridge, but you can’t reach them by phone if you’re delayed; the arrival notice arrives at the very last moment, with no staff hand‑off. That might be my fault; I’m not a phone‑generation person.

“Veraltet, Schimmel in der Dusche, keine Abstellfläche, schmutzige Matratzen und ekligen Matratzenschutz. Nicht empfehlen”

We literally didn’t like anything about the place and couldn’t find any positives; the accommodation was in a terrible state, several walls had torn‑off wallpaper, the shower had mold, the beds were dirty in several spots, and across the street was a club or party room that made noise until the night.
