It was very quiet, the river was right nearby, and the villa’s location was very good. However, there was a coffee machine but no coffee, and in the morning there was nowhere nearby to buy any.

We arrived two hours early and the owner let us in right away because the room was ready. The photos were taken a long time ago; all the trees in front of the gate have been cut down and the view is really bad. The gate stayed open all night and the house’s front door was also left open all night. Romania can be quiet, but not to the point of leaving doors open at night. The bathroom is very small and has no cabinet; the sink is so tiny that there isn’t even room for a toothbrush and toothpaste. The shower drain still had hair left by previous guests. The pool water was so cold that none of us felt like taking a dip.

We used the hotel as a launch point for the Vidaru and Transfegerasht reservoirs, which was very convenient. We reached the Baleo lake by 9 am, saw a couple of bears, and kept driving without stopping. The bathroom had a strange smell.

The host was brilliant and very welcoming. The location is outstanding and picturesque, and I’ll definitely look for a stay again. The owner even let me fly a drone, and the shots I captured were stunning. There is nothing I didn’t like.
