“Super fijne accomodatie”
Top accommodation! Beautiful, quiet location with plenty of charming villages, towns, and great restaurants nearby. The owners were super friendly and surprised us several times with delicious pastries from Vallfabrica. The garden and veranda were lovely, even in the rain. It was a wonderful place where we spent a delightful vacation week. No complaints.
The weekend of 8 December with a group of eight people was a perfect escape into open countryside, just a short distance from the nearest village with shops. The countryside itself is a major highlight, refreshing body and soul with its scents, colors, and quiet broken only by birdsong. The property spans two levels: the ground floor for daytime use and three bedrooms on the upper floors, with a total of two bathrooms. The recent stylish overhaul gives the place every comfort. The garden is spacious, featuring olive trees, aromatic and fruit plants, a cute donkey, and a variety of chickens that could be showcased at a fair for their beauty. The owners are friendly, hospitable, and helpful with cultural and gastronomic suggestions. It’s strategically ideal for anyone wanting a fixed base to explore the region’s sights. We stayed in Gubbio and Assisi and might return in spring. Note that heating is self‑controlled, parking is secure, linens are immaculate, and the top‑quality pillows and mattresses provide restorative sleep.
