The place is tucked away in a quiet area and the building is clean, but the shower is a nightmare – low pressure, barely any water and it gets freezing in winter. We even had a little spark from the shower, which was funny in hindsight.

The weather, the charm and the overall tranquility of the spot made it a pleasant stay; honestly I have nothing to complain about.

The room was extremely dirty and there was no breakfast provided, which left the whole experience feeling pretty grim.

It’s a quiet spot with cheap rates, parking and a decent location, but the room lacked a top sheet so the blanket sat right on you – not ideal for anyone with allergies – and the owner never sorted it after I asked. On top of that the bedside lamp was burnt out, there was no mosquito protection, the shower had weak pressure and barely any water, and the air‑conditioner clearly needed its filter cleaned.
