We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Huacas, where my girlfriend and I loved the spotless room and the wonderfully comfortable bed. The hosts, Melinda & Miguel, were the real stars—extremely welcoming and kind, making us feel instantly at home. Their breakfast was excellent, and they offered great chats and solid tips on beaches, dining spots, and other local activities. Plus, their dog Tobi always greets you with a smile whenever you walk onto the property.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Huacas; everything was spotless, the new facilities, air conditioning and Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly, and the location was great with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, just a few minutes’ drive from the best beaches. Miguel and his wife treated us wonderfully, served excellent breakfasts, and constantly offered suggestions and tips to enhance our Guanacaste trip. 100 % recommend!
