Just a stone’s throw from the center of the small town of Saumur. The shutters, fans, and ventilation are lacking during heat waves.

A very large, quiet, bright room with excellent shared facilities, freshly painted and pleasant. We didn’t realize it was a youth hostel; the description could be clearer. We shared a bathroom, and one other guest spent 45 minutes in the morning, blocking our schedule. The host should install mirrors in rooms with shared bathrooms, and our large room only had one chair.

Very tasteful décor, clean, and bicycles can be stored safely. The host is friendly, quick, and easy to reach; I’ll definitely come back.
