My husband, two kids under 3, all fit comfortably; there’s a hot shower with decent water pressure; parking was included; it’s within walking distance of central Hatyai and the ASEAN night market; they offered complimentary snacks, drinks, and a soft drink; overall it’s a very good place to stay. No TV, but who cares when you’re in Thailand doing sightseeing all day and night.

The hostel is pretty and cute, the rooms are new and the facilities are solid (no TV, but that didn't bother me). It has three floors and no elevator, so the stairs are narrow—good for backpackers. If you have a big suitcase, ask the staff for help. Across the street is Central Hatyai, close enough. Soundproofing is weak, but they do give out earplugs. Inside the room you get free snacks and drinks, plus a fridge. The hair dryer is decent, not the tiny ones you see elsewhere.

The design and layout were amazing, but remember there’s no lift for heavy or bulky luggage. The eateries are within walking distance, and there’s a laundry at the hostel three units away—just ask nicely and they’ll gladly help. Overall the stay was pleasant, with very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.
