The house is lovely, perfectly positioned to explore Funchal, with friendly and charming staff, a spacious, well‑furnished room, a nice garden to eat or relax, and free coffee from the hotel. However, when we tried the breakfast at 13 euros, we were disappointed and chose to shop ourselves and dine in the garden, which is possible.

I loved the location—just a stone’s throw from everything! The breakfast came in a box for 13 €, but I’d have preferred a smaller spread (croissant, butter, coffee, muesli) for 8‑10 €.
