You’re right in the heart of Antalya’s historic old town yet still feel like you’re in a cozy house with a private terrace; the building’s historic vibe gives it a unique charm, the staff are incredibly helpful, and you can always head downstairs for a wonderful cup of Turkish tea; all the main sights and many restaurants are within walking distance.

The breakfast was very sparse and not always fresh, even the yogurt was missing. I’ve stayed in many places in Turkey, but never had such a meager breakfast; the menemen was dry in the first few days and became boring after a while. It could use improvement! Also, there were a lot of cats that climbed onto sofas and even the table. The room was tiny, the mosque was very close and the call to prayer could be heard in the morning. The window wouldn’t open, so you couldn’t ventilate at all. The constant noise was a problem because there’s no sound insulation and you can hear the hallway and other rooms.

The location was indescribably central, the night porter was a powerhouse, and the morning lady seemed more concerned with her appearance than with guests. The rooms were fine, though ours wasn’t the quietest, which is expected in the heart of the old town. The weather was modest, but the hosts couldn’t do anything about that. Still, it’s definitely a clear recommendation. Parking is tough; anyone who wants to park here must know their car’s dimensions, but the hotel can’t help with that. The night porter even guided us to the parking spot, which was perfect. The young lady in charge in the mornings messed things up a bit. The coffee at breakfast was cold, and her attention was more on her phone than on guests. Still, it’s recommended for a small hotel in the city.

The location and staff were good, and the breakfast was fine, although the chairs on the terrace where we ate looked dirty and cats regularly slept on them. The room was very small and needs renovation; the floor was damaged and the walls need painting. It lacked a wardrobe (probably wasn’t promised in the description), which feels like an obvious element for storing clothes in a hotel room.

A nice hotel in the old town. Highly recommended for a stay in the old town. Plenty of breakfast.
