The owner and staff were incredibly kind and helped plan my sightseeing. Once I arrived in Candy, I was told to head straight there. The room was spotless, and because it was a corner room with two large windows, the view was amazing when the weather was good. A big supermarket and Spa Seiron were within a 5‑minute walk, so I could buy almost all souvenirs there. The value for money was unbeatable.

I ended up staying in a rural house owned by a Sri Lankan staff member for about half a day, and it was clean. The price was cheap for a private room. The owner, Yam‑san, is Japanese, and there were several other staff and volunteers who speak Japanese.
