Everything matched the description (photos are up to date), the drop‑off spot is fantastic, the living conditions are very good, the kitchen is fully equipped with coffee, tea, even oil and spices, and hand towels are provided too; we were five people and we’re satisfied. In August when temperatures rise above 30 °C, air‑conditioning would be handy because the fans don’t always keep the rooms cool.

“Great location for exploration of Pisa, Lucca and Florence. Good value for money”

The location works well for Lucca, Pisa, and Florence – all reachable by train or car. The train station is a 25‑minute walk, so factor that into your plans. There’s no air‑conditioning; the traditional Tuscan shutters keep the house relatively cool and fans are in every room, but I’d visit earlier in the year to avoid July and August. That’s also reflected in the price.
