The XV on the common landing was not at all isolated, the kitchen smell was unbearable. Everything else was bad.

The meal was excellent and hearty; the hotel is fine except the bathroom is not in the room—you have to walk to the end of the corridor. Apart from that, nothing to complain about, very clean.

The location and the staff’s welcome were straightforward and pleasant. The dinner was simple, filling, and tasty. The room 1 faces the staircase, so the sound insulation is only basic; you can hear the neighbours. The bathroom is shared by 7 or 8 rooms. The owner mentioned that renovations will be done soon.

The hotel is close to the places I wanted to visit. It would have been better if the booking had mentioned that the toilets are shared in the corridor; that’s a drawback. Also, a small lamp near the bed would help avoid having to get up to turn everything off.
