The food was delicious with plenty of options. It’s hard to say… the bathroom is tiny and hard to change, and in general throughout Scotland the plumbing is difficult to use and looks old-fashioned.

The place is lovely, comfortable, and relaxing, and the hosts are the friendliest; we felt right at home and will definitely return when we visit Scotland again. Every single detail was just perfect!

I was especially grateful for Hannah’s kindness and hospitality. The lobby felt welcoming, the room was very comfortable and homey, and the breakfast was special. I enjoyed chatting with Hannah, who also shared great recommendations for local eateries. The property is surrounded by greenery yet close enough to town that it feels like living in Narnia. I also loved her dogs; the little Jack Russell even came to say goodbye as we left. It was a wonderful experience that I’d love to repeat, perhaps in the winter.

Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The room (Hazel) offered good storage. Breakfast was very good, including the coffee 🙂 Hannah was very friendly. The front windows provided lovely views, and the house sits on large grounds. The resident lounge existed, but we would have preferred having seating in the room, especially if staying for several days. The shower-room was quite small.
