We stayed at the hotel for two consecutive years, so I can compare. The rooms are truly huge; this year we had a family suite that was really great, with two bathrooms, two toilets, a separate room for parents, and real privacy; the rooms are well separated from each other and from the outside. The food was excellent, with plenty of vegetables, salads, cakes, various meats to choose from, and the soups were top; everyone can find something they like. The beach is close, loungers are included, and beach towels are available on request. The hotel’s facilities match the description: the pools are nice, there is a game room, a small wellness area, a bar, a snack bar, everything is fine. The main thing that got worse compared to last year: the hotel changed staff significantly and the quality of cleaning suffered; last year we met two staff members, but this year the cleaning was done by men, only one person, the room wasn’t vacuumed, the beds were poorly made, soap and toilet paper were missing, towels weren’t changed, and we had to ask several times for everything, which was annoying, especially for a 5‑star hotel. Last year it was much better. The food was tasty and varied, but breakfast was barely mentioned, every day the same, and lunches and dinners were very limited. The dinner at the top restaurant, which you could go to once a week, was mostly the same as the buffet with minor changes; it lacked the uniqueness people expected, and from the first moment a singer was there, which would have been nice but was so loud and shrill that I couldn’t hear the person next to me, and our heads hurt, not just mine but several guests, who eventually left after a while. It’s a shame because the restaurant has great potential with amazing views and is pleasant. A lot could be improved, and the experience would then be great. They canceled the shuttle to the beach. The reception and butler service became less helpful; more willingness would be appreciated. I also think it’s due to some staff being on duty almost nonstop, which I envy their dedication.
